Terms of Service
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Flash Hosting (“we”, “us”), a Minecraft server hosting service available at flashhosting.net. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
We provide hosted Minecraft: Java Edition servers with a control panel, backups, file management and related tools. Plans are described by player slots; we allocate and manage the underlying computing resources. We may change technical details of how servers run at any time as long as the advertised player capacity and features are maintained.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian accept these terms.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done from your account, including by team members you invite.
- We may suspend accounts that provide false information or are used to abuse the service.
3. Payments and renewals
Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment partner, Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. Prices may change with at least 30 days notice by email.
4. Cancellation, suspension and data
- You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Your server keeps running until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment fails, your server keeps running for a grace period of 7 days. After that it is suspended.
- Suspended servers keep their files for 14 days, after which they are archived for a further 30 days. After that the data is deleted. Download a backup if you want to keep it.
- We may suspend a server immediately for violations of the Acceptable Use Policy or to protect the platform.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to worlds, plugins and other files you upload. You grant us the right to store, copy and transmit them as needed to run the service, including backups. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including plugins and resource packs.
6. Minecraft
Minecraft is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Flash Hosting is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Microsoft or Mojang Studios. By creating a server you accept the Minecraft EULA and let us record that acceptance on the server for you. You must comply with the EULA and Microsoft’s usage guidelines on every server you run, including their rules on what may be sold to players.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep servers reachable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, attacks on the network and failures at our providers can cause downtime. We will credit affected paying customers at our discretion for significant outages we caused.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost worlds or data beyond the backups the service provides; keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
