Backups and restores

Create, lock, download and restore backups.

Backups include your worlds, plugins and settings. Each plan has a number of backups and a storage quota; the oldest unlocked backup is what you delete when you are full.

• Create: click Create backup. It runs in the background; large worlds take a few minutes.
• Lock: locked backups can never be deleted by mistake and do not count as candidates for cleanup.
• Download: gives you a .tar.zst archive of your files.
• Restore: stop the server first, then click Restore. Current files are replaced.

Use a schedule to take a backup every night automatically.
